Nathan and Cassie Anderson met as co-workers for a printing company in Nebraska and fast knew they worked well together. So much so, they married and continued in the printing industry while also running a roofing and construction business and offering lawn care services. It was 2009 when they married and by 2013 Nathan was recruited to a different printing company, they moved from Nebraska to Iowa with their children.
Cassie had gone to school for marketing and accounting, which she now oversees for the business managing the office, website and more. Before using her skills for the family owned and operated business she worked as an office manager until she and Nathan decided it was time to take the plunge.
“We were tired of working for corporations and wanted our freedom back,” they agree. After talking with friends in the commercial roofing business “we decided it would be a good fit for us” and ClearView Roofing and Coatings was born. It was a natural career transition with Nathan’s then 20 years of roofing and construction experience.
Their full-time commercial roofing business began in the spring of 2018. This hardworking team was ready to dictate their own schedule, be available for their children’s activities, have room for more family time in general, and oversee the operations.
The Andersons are preferred contractors with Conklin for several years now and strive to, “build relationships with our customers, doing whatever it takes to solve their roofing needs.” They have a reliable, professional team who go over and above for each other, and each project. The goal for ClearView is to use their knowledge and experience “to help other contractors get started with their businesses too, and to build bigger so we can provide even more service.”
When not on a roof or managing the office, you will likely find Nathan and Cassie with their children at a baseball or football game or cheering the band. When the family has free time, it will always be Lake Red Rock first, as the relaxation of choice. This outdoorsy family loves to go fishing and camping, or maybe race a go-cart now and then.
